FFXV has gone under multiple renames and rebrandings.

I wouldn't say that just the fact it's been in development for 10+ years means it's worth $60, we've yet to see it. For all we know it could still end up being absolute trash, and I say that as a FF fan. Duke Nukem and Too Human have already been brought up to light, the former took a huge hit and I'm not even sure if there's ever going to be another game made for it, and the latter has faded into absolute obscurity. Aside from just popping up in top 10 lists every now and then in a negative light.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I'm thinking like it's gonna suck.

The marketing is wayyy too aggressive for it.

"Look there's an FFXV movie! Omg you want the game right?
No?
Well now there's also an anime!
You totally want to buy the game now huh?"

They're trying too hard.

Anyway I'm glad at this stage that most publishers aren't putting in game breaking DLC a lot of it is actually fun or actually optional, you can't really pay to get ahead in many games. Thank f*** gamers made enough noise about that, if people fell for it gaming could have been destroyed. Multiplayer gaming at least.

"Buy our game! Now buy things in the game to make you the best!
CONSUME. ALL."

Well, considering that a poor sale profit of Final Fantasy XV would put the FF series in serious jeopardy I'd be suprised if they didn't try to sell the game so to speak. Square Enix is already throwing out their trump card in FF7 Remake, so there's that as well. They def need a gr8 sale profit, it's a must not a luxury. lol

Gender Neutral, meaning I don't want to be specified to either gender. If you keep calling me by gender terms, I'm just going to call you an "it". That's all.

I would say its aggressive marketing isn't a direct reflection of the quality of the game itself, that's rather silly. The only thing I would get from both the movie and the anime (I've watched the anime in full now) is that it's getting all the stuff we need to know prior to the game starting out of the way. The anime is free, while the movie goes over what happens with Noct's Father. The game seems to want to focus purely on Noct and his buds.
